Boise Creek Farm in Enumclaw Washington is home to our fold of registered Scottish Highland Cattle. We believe that our cattle deserve the maximum pasture space to grow and thrive. Therefore, our goal is to maintain a fold foundation of only three breeding cows. As offspring arrive, we work hard to place them with responsible owners who respect the needs of animals. We strive to obtain the highest quality cattle in genetics and health and place the highest priority on quality over quantity. Our cattle are grass fed, and as a special treat, we occasionally add grain to their diet. In the autumn months they eagerly devour the apples, pears, vegetables, and pumpkins grown on the farm. Whether you are interested in purchasing cattle or just curious to know more about the breed, you are welcome to contact us. Children are always welcome, but please leave any pets in the car. Please contact us at boisecreekfarm@comcast.net. Thanks! |

It's good now what you are eating. Our Highland
steers are raised humanely in a stress-free and healthy environment. No added
hormones, anabolic steroids, or sub-therapeutic feed antibiotics have been used
to feed or treat our animals. Our cattle are grass-fed with occasional grain
added. All steer in our beef program have up-to-date vaccines and health checks.
Highland beef is a healthy alternative to the
beef found in most supermarkets; it is about 40% lower in cholesterol and fat
than most other beef types. Highlands grow a thick coat of hair in cold
weather, rather than the layer of fat that most other cattle breeds develop. To order your locally raised and fed Highland beef, call Bob at 253-350-5935. |
